We had a tremendous VBS program this week.

June 17 – 165 students – 75 staff – 240 total
June 18 – 180 students – 72 staff – 252 total
June 19 – 173 students – 88 staff – 261 total
June 20 – 195 students – 81 staff – 276 total
June 21 – 198 students – 80 staff – 278 total


PLEASE BE PATIENT as we continue in the final stage of our building program. We were pleased to use the big room on the upper level for VBS. Work in the old basement will begin as carpet and dividers are removed. The elevator is being worked on; that will take 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Final touches are being done in the kitchen and bathrooms. Please be careful and patient as you move around the building.

Randy and Melanie Umble are our Missionaries serving in Ecuador. They are visiting with family and will speak to the Sunday School on July 8.

Christian Sympathy is offered to the family and friends of those who recently passed away.
-Katie Fisher died on Saturday, June 16. Private services were held at the family farm on June 18.
-Lena Stoltzfus died on Sunday, June 17. Services were held in the church on Saturday June 23 and internment in the church cemetery.
-Lois Stoltzfus died on Monday, June 17. Services were held in the church on Saturday June 23 and internment at the Millwood church.
-Allen Stoltzfus Jr died on Wednesday, June 20. Allen is Willie Lantz’ Nephew.

THANK YOU to all who supported our “team” for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 22-23. The Maple Grove team had a good number of walkers and a “jail” that helped raise funds for cancer research.

Baptism Instruction Classes
Are you interested in Baptism? Maple Grove will have a baptism service on August 26. Instruction classes will begin on Sunday, July 1 at 5:00 pm. Please Contact Pastor Steve if you are interested (pastorscrane@epix.net)

Preschool Teachers are needed. The Maple Grove Preschool needs teachers for the fall. Contact Judi Woods, Director at 610-593-1159 for details

The Red / Pink Hat Ladies will meet on Thursday, June 28 at 5:30 pm for a “Garden Party” at the home of Joe & Cathy King. Please bring a covered dish, meat will be provided. Husbands and male friends are welcome (wear your favorite hat). RSVP to Cathy by Sunday, June 24.

Building Fund News
We thank everyone for their sacrificial giving toward our building addition. The final cost for the addition is $1,008,000.00. To date we have received contributions for $800,970.00. Prayerfully consider making a gift (or an additional gift) to the Building Fund. In July we will borrow the balance needed to complete the project.
