June 22, 2008 – Announcements

VBS THANK YOU
We thank everyone who helped make VBS a success! Our lowest attendance night was Sunday with 172 and our highest attendance was on Wednesday with 198 in attendance. A number of the children made decisions to give their lives to Jesus. Certainly we know that Jesus gives us the power for all things!

PASTORAL DISCERNMENT COMMITTEE
Nominations for members of the Pastoral Discernment Committee are to be placed in the ballot box in the vestibule. This committee will prepare an evaluation of the church, review the credentials of Pastor Steve and interview him to discern if he would benefit Maple Grove as lead pastor. Nominees for this committee must be members of the church in good standing.
